AirSafe™ Automatic Safety Controller
The AirSafe™ Automatic Safety Controller ensures your protection 24 hours a day. Incorporating a combination of airflow monitoring, filter monitoring and gas detection, AirSafe™ allows you to breathe easier knowing your safety is being constantly monitored. The AirSafe™ Automatic Safety Controller may be fitted to the industry standard AC600 Series, and is standard on AC1000 or AC2000 units.
AirSafe™ Filter Monitor: No more guessing — AirSafe™, not your nose, will warn you when to change the main filter. AirSafe™ ensures your safety 24 hours a day so you can breathe easier.
Airflow Monitoring: O.S.H.A. requires that fume hood face velocities be measured. The AirSafe™ Automatic Safety Controller does this for the user while constantly displaying the exact face velocity on its alpha-numeric display.
Glutaraldehyde Soak Timer: A built-in timer may be pre-set to any soak time from 0 to 59 minutes. When the quick key "timer" button is pressed an audible and visual alarm is activated at timeout.
Glutaraldehyde Change Timer: Will track 7- day, 14-day or 28-day change cycles and warn the user when it is time to change the glutaraldehyde.
AirSafe™ Airflow Control: Unlike other systems that have either single or dual speed blowers, the AirSafe™ controller will continuously vary the blower speed to the precise speed required to maintain correct face velocity even when sash position or trays are moved.
Glutaway ™ Pump Timer: When the optional Glutaway™ pump is installed, this timer will monitor the disposal of either disinfectant or rinse water and prevent pump burnout.
Filter: The unit will only operate with a correct filter installed. A filter validation will advise the user of what type of filter is installed and installation date.
