AirClean® Systems ductless AC1000 Polypropylene Endoscopy Workstations provide excellent containment of toxic fumes and vapors associated with high level disinfectants such as glutaraldehyde and OPA, used for endoscope cleaning. Thermally-fused polypropylene construction and AirZone™ baffling for containment make the AC1000 the ideal endoscope washer for use with OPA, Glutaraldehyde and other high level disinfectants.

The AC1000 workstation is ideal for endoscope reprocessing of colonoscopes, sigmoidoscopes, upper and lower GI scopes. Soak pans and trays are easily placed inside the workstation to allow for endoscope cleaning and reprocessing.

Fully complies with ANSI/AAMI ST58 for safe use and handling of Glutaraldehyde-based products in health care facilities. The AC1000 has been independently tested in the clinical environment for containment efficiency. The AC1000 Ductless Polypropylene Endoscopy Workstation meets and exceeds ANSI Z9.5 standard for ductless workstations and complies with OSHA and JCAHO requirements. FACT: The use of Glutaraldehyde, Ortho-phthalaldehyde and other high-level disinfectants should always be completed inside a fume hood or ductless fume hood to ensure your safety. Over-exposure to these and other chemicals may cause adverse health effects. AC1000M provides a mobile disinfectant workstation that can be moved from room to room for cleaning of endoscopy probes.

Operator access and tray layouts It is important to use two trays in the workstation to eliminate disinfectant exposure. One tray is used for endoscope cleaning and disinfection and the other for rinsing. The AC1000 will hold two common rectangular trays — one tray can be used for the disinfectant and the other to hold rinse water to remove and disinfect residue. Full access to endoscopes and trays is paramount in the AC1000 design. A sloping front allows easy access during manipulation of endoscopes and trays within the workstation, without scraping arms and elbows. The AC1000 is 24” deep to fit on a standard bench-top without crowding valuable aisle space. No wasted bench space! Glutaway™ waste pump eliminates operator exposure during disinfectant disposal.
